At the Zoo 2019: Burgers’ Zoo

The reason to go to Burgers’ Zoo in Arnhem last year was a very very VERY special one. You must know Burgers’ Zoo is a zoo who has these beautiful walk-through habitats, made to look like a typical biotope. Like, there is Burgers’ Bush which is like a Rainforest, and there is the Ocean which is, well it in the name right, all about aquariums filled with tropical fish. Also there is the Desert and the Mangrove. In these themed enclosures live animals you could find in the wild in the same environment. Cool huh! Well… however me love to visit every part of Burgers’ Zoo, last year we mostly focused on the Mangrove because someone really special can be admired there! (pictures by Berry de Nijs)

Because earlier that year the manatee had a baby! AND IT SO FREAKING ADORABLE! Berry and me rushed to the Mangrove to admire the little one and we stayed there for a couple of hours. It was so beautiful to see him swim with his mommy! It very special for the Netherlands to have a baby manatee. So we enjoyed him as much as we could. Also in the Mangrove are butterflies, little fishees, crabs and turtles. And ofcourse we explored the rest of the large zoo too. We even adopted a new penguin friend!

These images attached in the blog are so cute, I loved them all, I am traveling to the Netherlands in the next month with my family and we are making the list of best things to do in the Netherlands, I have added a compulsory visit to Burger’s zoo in the Netherlands to that list so that in the end I do not forget anything.

Hi! Thank you Unknown for your kind words!
Also know that when you are traveling to the Netherlands that you must follow the COVID rules and that lots of day trips might still be in lockdown...
