At the Zoo 2019: Ouwehands Dierenpark

Last year me only visited Ouwehands Dierenpark once. That was a great day, because it was also an instameet and you have read about that on a Saturday (if not, just check the menu on the left called ‘Cookie meets a friend’). But me also wanted to tell you more about this beautiful zoo full of fluffy friends! There is truly a lot to see. (pictures by Berry de Nijs)

Ouwehands Dierenpark is a zoo in Rhenen and that is a place in the province of Utrecht at the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. That is a hill-like region so you walk up and down at the zoo which makes it a very natural experience. They have loads of animals there. From gorillas to lions (white ones) and from meerkats to camels. Me love this zoo particular for their bears. There are polar bears, a bear forest with rescued bears and… panda bears! It a fun place to visit and there is loads to see!
