Cookie At the Museum part 11: Rijksmuseum

In February Berry was asked to visit Caravaggio & Bernini at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam so she could write about it for a magazine. Guess who tagged along… hihi yes. Me, ofcourse. And wow it was amazing. Me love the Rijksmuseum, because it so big and they have real special exhibits. Like this one about two amazing Italian artists. They say without these two artists Rembrandt would never have been such a huge painter!

Exhibit: Caravaggio & Bernini
This exhibit is about the Italian painter Caravaggio and the Italian sculptur Bernini. The painter invented the dramatic light and dark themes. Also he made his characters more human and life like. It not very plushie friendly but me liked it. The sculptur brought softness and dramatic movement into marble and stone. That was never done before. It was amazing! There were also paintings and sculptures by other artists that were very much impressed and inspired by Bernini and Caravaggio.

Me also had a philosophical talk with these guys. Hihi
