Out in Amsterdam with Richie, Keith and Aapie

Did you know there is a house in Amsterdam where the painter Rembrandt lived? It is a museum now, and it feels like the time has stood still there. Me visited it with me friends Richie and Keith on February 28th 2019. And it was the day me met Aapie for the first time too. It was an amazing day making a new friend and having fun at the museum. Oh and there was cake. Lots of it too!

So before we went to the museum we went to this little bakery for some cake and other nommies. Me and Berry made Aapie a cool outfit and me got spoiled too with paint and a little easel and some soaps. Hihi.

The cakes were sooo nommy! Just look at this one! It looks like a rainbow surrounded by clouds! OOOOO me wanted to stare at it and eat it and stare and eat and… soooo nommmy!

When we had full bellies the ladies took us to the museum. Me already had been there earlier that year so me could show me buddies around the house. Ofcourse Keith had to photobomb me taking a picture with some pretty glasses in the kitchen. O and look at this window! You can see in the living room from way up here!

There is a lot to see at the museum. There is this room with all the stuff Rembrandt collected so he could paint and draw it. Look at these cute pictures of Keith and Aapie made at that room – made by their humans too.

Also we had fun looking around at the place where you can admire all the drawings. And ofcourse at the place where Rembrandt taught his students how to paint! The two bottom pictures of these four where made by Aapie’s human!

Next to the home of Rembrandt is a museum with different exhibits. When we were there, there was an expo about the friends and family of Rembrandt. We particularly loved this painting of Saskia. She was married to Rembrandt. Me and Richie were quite smitten by her.

We ended the day at a Bagels & Beans with lunch and a nommy juice. But still… me no can stop thinking about that cake we had in the morning… me need to go back just to have another slice…
