Playing with statues by the sea

Me latest instameet - well, it more of a friend meet now - was again with the little elephants Richie and Keith. You must know Berry and Tessa (our humans) are really into art. Me love art too. And me thinks the little elephants do too... me not sure. Me need to ask them... Anyhow, our humans love art and wanted to go to a museum. So they choose Museum Beelden aan Zee (Museum Statues by the Sea) in Scheveningen, Den Haag. So we hopped on the train and went to The Hague. It was a very nice day on November 9 2018 and the museum was nice too.

First we went to the indoor museum. There was this exhibit going on with modern art statues. Me liked them, but was a little confused what me was looking at. Could be me googly eyes did not focus very well. Me did like the exhibit with the study statues. There was one of our Queen Mother and a statue of Anne Frank. On the rooftop of the museum were statues too. Some where not suitable for plushie eyes... not even googly ones. But there were some nice statues there.

But the best time me and me friends had was outside of the museum. On the boulevard of Scheveningen, in front of the museum, is a square with little statues called Fairytales by the Sea. They are made by Tom Otterness. The statues represent fairytales and folk stories. It was so nice to interact with the statues and take pictures with them! We had so much fun together.

After visiting the museum the ladies wanted to go shopping in The Hague. So they did. Me particularly loved the windows of De Bijenkorf. Because there were all these Teddies playing around, inventing perfume and make-up, taking care of the wish lists, setting the table, having a party and much much more. Me loved it! Me wanted to go inside and play with them, but then again.... me no wanted to stay in the window... So me just waved at them from the outside. It was fun.

Well... me know Berry and Tessa will meet again in December. Me just curious where we will go next!
