Happy Halloween: How Cookie & Aapie defeated a witch

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Hihi. Yes me know me too early, but on November 1 2019 we had a great Halloweenie party at me house. Look… me made scary cookies that look at you… and me made a scary cake that look at you… and me dressed up as Cookie Potter! And Aapie was at the party too. Cookies Keukenhof Memories

HELLO EVERYONE! Me is here with some flowers and Spring good times to cheer everybody up. Especially our humans. It a crazy world at the moment with a fast spreading flu virus. But me think our humans talk about it more than enough. Me just wanted to show some pretty things. Here in the Netherlands the spring flowers are starting to bloom. For the last couple of years (2017, 2018 and 2019) me have visited Keukenhof with Berry for workthingies, Instameets and recreational visits. We both loooooove tulips. We surely have tulipmania, hihi. So… because Keukenhof will not open right now because of this flu virus, me will bring Keukenhof to all of you with a LOT of pictures. Me love Keukenhof – me visits in 2018

O boy o boy o boy, me loved writing about me instameets at Keukenhof this year so much, me already made a follow up to tell you more about the other visits me had this year. Like me told you before, me got to visit Keukenhof 5 times this year. 2 times for instameets, 3 times for Berry her work (at one time we had a little instameet even). It was so much fun. And the best part? Me saw how magical nature is, because with every visit (the other 2 included) the park changes in colours, flower varieties and exhibits too.

I went to the zoo – a blog by Hope

I went on an adventurous assignment to the Fort Worth Zoo earlier in May. I had never been to a zoo before. It was a warm day and we had packed our lunch with peanut butter and grape jelly sandwiches, ginger ale and some fruit and a package of Oreo cookies. I was hungry as soon as we arrived, but I’m always hungry. This zoo was founded in 1909 and when it opened it had a lion, 2 bear cubs, a peacock, an alligator, a rabbit and a coyote. It now has 435 species and does conservation work and is listed as a top zoo in the USA. It spans 64 acres.

Last month you could meet one of me blogging friends called Hope. This week me want to introduce you to Tipsy Cat Bose. But me can call her just Tipsy. She is a travelling lady with a blog about all her travels. She has been to so many cool places already! Giant Cookie in MiniWorld Rotterdam

Berry had to go to MiniWorld Rotterdam in December and guess who tagged along… heehee… yes! ME! That no surprise, right? Unboxing: Hope’s Tea Party Parcel

You know Bear Boss Hope from Honeygrove? She hosts the Tea Party Tuesday every Tuesday on Instagram. Also Hope has her own website: HoneyGroveBears.com where she keeps a diary and you can find her cool Tea Party Parcels there. Those are really awesome. She carefully handpicks all the pieces that go in there. Everything is handmade by local artists and such and that makes owning such a box extra special. Hope also puts a lot of thought in the little gifts and themes of the box. Now, me wanted to surprise me bestie Berry, so me borrowed her credit card and bought the Winter Tea Party Parcel for Berry. Together we opened the box and are so delighted with everything that was in the small box! We gonna show you every piece.

Me is a Wizard, Hagrid

Do you remember me went to the opening of the Harry Potter expo last February? Do you? No? Well… you can read it in me article You’re a Wizard, Cookie. We loved the expo soooo much me and Frights (and Berry ofcourse, cause we needed a ride) went to see it again in August. Yes… me will tell all about our adventures soon. Me promise! Well… spoiler alert, we had a blast again. So much, me wanted to be Harry Potter for Halloween. Pictures of the #cookieislandhalloweenparty2017 can be found on me Instagram account. Thanks to our sweetest German friend and shopping Queen Dörte me got all these cool Harry Potter merch and now me truly feel like Cookie Potter!

Cookie loves panda bears

You know me love going to the zoo, right? Well in the Netherlands we have lots of zoos. One even more special than the other. One of me fave zoos is Ouwehands Dierenpark, because they have this amazing bearforest and polar bears and penguins, gorillas and African elephants and… panda bears! They live here since this Spring and are called Wu Wen (the girl) and Xing Ya (the boy). Ofcourse me went to visit them. It a while ago though, but me wanted to show you anyways. It was amazing. These bears are so beautiful!

Plushie Fashion Week 2017: The Cat Hat Collection

You know me have a best friend who makes all me clothes right? She also like to make scarfs and hats and Cookie pins for me friends on Instagram. You can read more about that in this months’ edition of Pet’s Mews - me friends totally surprised us with that article! Well, in September me very good and sweet friend Tipsy Cat Bose - editor in chief at Pet’s Mews – decided it was time to host the first annual #plushiefashionweek2017. Fun in Oberhausen with Lego’s and SeaLife

It already a while ago, but me had so much fun me needed to do a blog about it anyway. On March 1st Berry took her brother, his wife and kids with her to Oberhausen in Germany. You see, she had a press thingy for her blog and this time she could share it with everybody. So after rubbing the sleep out of me googly eyes – we had to get up real early – we took a road trip to Germany. It promised to be a very fun day!

A is for… the Altravelalphabet

Me have to admit! Me love doing alphabets almost as much as me love eating cookies. Well… almost. Me buddy Dušana, also known of the Instagram account Altravelbunny, celebrated his birthday by exploring the Alphabet with words that are associated with traveling, wonder, nature and the environment. Dušana have been travelling the world, swapping humans on the go, for quite some time before returning home to his human friend, so he has seen a lot of the world. So celebrating his birthday he took us on a trip around the Alphabet all February. It was awesome to spend time and thought in this alphabet. Because me loved the #altravelalphabet so much, me wanted to show you all me pictures me used for Dušana’s alphabet with you in an article. Me hope you will love it too!

You’re a wizard Cookie!

Last week me received a letter from little Hedwig to come to Hogwarts. First me was sorted by the sorting hat and then… Then me went to the Common Room. Me even got to see the bedroom of Harry and Ron! Wow it felt like a dream… maybe it was a dream… Well actually me went with Berry to the press preview of Harry Potter The Exhibition and it was amazing! Let me tell you all about it! Having a Day of Vacation at the Vacation Expo

Since me bestie Berry is a freelance text writer and blogger, she has visited many great expo’s, openings, zoos and museums. For the third year in a row now she took me to ‘de Vakantiebeurs’, or Vacation Expo in Dutch. This expo is huge in the Netherlands and is visited by many people, also from abroad. It starts on Tuesday with a day for press and professionals and ends on Sunday. So it takes up almost a week! The purpose of the expo is that travel bureaus promote their accommodations and destinations so you can find the vacation of your dreams. It awesome. You can travel the whole world… in just one day!

Cookie Report in Pet's Mews

Hi everybody, Cookie here. It been a crazy busy couple of weeks, so me had to postpone some stories me wanted to share with you all. Me will catch up with everybody. You know me! Cookie Report from Bretagne – part V: Music on the Campgrounds & Slide Show

Hi everybody. Thanks for being patient. Here is the last episode of this year’s Summer vacation report. Today me want to talk about all the fun music on the campgrounds. There was music every day. At the pool you could listen to Summer songs, the Kids Club danced to certain songs and the camping even had its own dance. The song we heard most was Magic in the Air by Magic System feat Chawki. The song was featured a lot during the Euro 2016 Football tournament but at the Holiday Park it also was everywhere. It makes me happy to listen to it. That is why me had to use it for me Vacation Slide Show! Have fun!
