The Little Mermaid

Hi everybody!
Is everyone enjoing summer? Me is!
Me went flying to Copenhagen with Berry last week. It was beautiful to see the clouds on the other side. They looked like icecreams!
In Copenhagen (it is the capitol of Denmark) we went to see al kinds of beautiful buildings and statues. It was wonderful!
Me made a canal tour in a big boat, saw the house of Hans Christian Andersen at Nyhavn, went to the King's Gardens and... saw the statue of the Little Mermaid!
Me loved her very much.

Cookies Copenhagen facts

Copenhagen is an old harbour city with loads of old historic buildings, palaces and other royal homes. There are a lot of parks, gardens, squares and lovely lakes. Every park has something beautiful, like a church, a palace or a fountain. Me loved it there!

The famous writer Hans Christian Andersen - who have written dozens of fairytales and stories - lived in Odense but saw the whole of Europe during his travels. He lived in Copenhagen for most of his life.

Danish specialties are Danish rolls, sweet bread with custard. There is special Almond cake and Smørrebrød, oftenly filled with bacon.

In Danmark there is no Sesamestreet, you can watch Elmo's World though!
