Okay, okay, me knooooow! Christmas was a month ago. But me still think about it very fondly. Me love Christmas. The tree ornaments, the twinkling lights, the smell of fresh baked cookies in the air, the cards, the presents, the twinkling lights… Wait, me said that already. Well, me just love the twinkling lights… They so pretty. So when me bunny buddy Addy (@adventurabbit on Instagram) asked me to host 2 weeks at the end of the year for our #plushiecolourquest me just knew right away what it had to be! Me wanted to see festive lights in all sorts and colours. And o boy me friends did their best too to light up Instagram like a Christmas tree. Some even posted video’s and multiple pictures of beautiful lanes and decorated houses. Me had so much fun, me decided to make a blog about it too. O and so you know, only the pictures with me in it are mine. The others belong to me Instagram buddies. Enjoy me friends. It a lot of pictures so happy scrolling too.

Cookies Amazing Campingtrip – sort of…

Hey everybody! Me have been on a fun campingtrip last week. Well… sort of. Me went to the Vakantiebeurs here in The Netherlands. Translated you can say the Holiday Fair. It a huge fair that lasts almost a week, where you can get a taste of different cool vacation spots. It really possible to travel the whole world in one day! You will be tired at the end of it, but you have seen it all. It is a great way to experience all kinds of cool things and get a taste of the beautiful world we live in. So… will you come with me on me pretend campingtrip?

Cookie in Belize – sort of…

Hello dear readers. The year is almost over and although me love the winter time, me was shaking from the cold yesterday and today too. Boy, there was loads of icey water coming from the sky! On wintery days like this, me love to sit in me fave chair, get a cup of cocoa and a plate filled with nommy cookies (chocolate chippies, ofcourse) and look at pictures of the Summer. Let me take you with me on me little vacation trip to the warm Mangrove of… no, me did not fly to Belize, but it felt like being in Belize. Why? Well, because Burgers Zoo in Arnhem build a little piece of Belize, just in their own zoo.

Unboxing: Hope’s Tea Party Parcel

You know Bear Boss Hope from Honeygrove? She hosts the Tea Party Tuesday every Tuesday on Instagram. Also Hope has her own website: HoneyGroveBears.com where she keeps a diary and you can find her cool Tea Party Parcels there. Those are really awesome. She carefully handpicks all the pieces that go in there. Everything is handmade by local artists and such and that makes owning such a box extra special. Hope also puts a lot of thought in the little gifts and themes of the box. Now, me wanted to surprise me bestie Berry, so me borrowed her credit card and bought the Winter Tea Party Parcel for Berry. Together we opened the box and are so delighted with everything that was in the small box! We gonna show you every piece.

Cookie & Frights at the Harry Potter expo

Hello everybody, here me is again with yet another blog about Harry Potter. Remember me told ya me went to the press preview of Harry Potter the Exhibition in February? Well, before me visited Star Wars Identities, me and Frights decided to visit the Harry Potter expo again at the end of August, before the expo would leave our city again. Well… we took Berry with us, because someone had to ride her bike to get us there right hee hee. The three of us had a blast again. We even heard Voldemort talk to us in the Chamber of the Dark Arts – That was really scary!

In a Galaxy not so far away – apparently

In a Galaxy far, far away, the world needed to be saved from an evil emperor who wanted to destroy ALL the cookies in the Universe. There was only one googly-eyed hero who could do that. So this fuzzy and blue hero packed his bag full of cookies, jumped on the back of his best friend and together – armed with a photocamera – they went to seek out Yoda so they could learn how to defeat Darth Vader and save ALL the Cookies in the Galaxy… Swoosh… swoosh… heehee.

Me is a Wizard, Hagrid

Do you remember me went to the opening of the Harry Potter expo last February? Do you? No? Well… you can read it in me article You’re a Wizard, Cookie. We loved the expo soooo much me and Frights (and Berry ofcourse, cause we needed a ride) went to see it again in August. Yes… me will tell all about our adventures soon. Me promise! Well… spoiler alert, we had a blast again. So much, me wanted to be Harry Potter for Halloween. Pictures of the #cookieislandhalloweenparty2017 can be found on me Instagram account. Thanks to our sweetest German friend and shopping Queen Dörte me got all these cool Harry Potter merch and now me truly feel like Cookie Potter!

It’s poisonous!

Me really love Berry her job, because she takes me everywhere! Even to an exhibition about… poison. Or better yet: VENOM. Yes. The exhibition in Dutch is called GIF! and can be seen at Naturalis in Leiden, the Netherlands. The exhibition was dedicated to the famous scientist (well he is very famous in the Netherlands) dr. Freek Vonk. He travels all around the world to look for animals and other natural phenomena’s and tells kids about them in a television show. He even got bitten by a shark! But he survived and has a huge scar to prove it all happened. Well... Berry took me and her youngest nephew on a traintrip to Leiden to meet Freek and to meet all these creepy crawlers and such who are indeed poisonous!

Cookie loves panda bears

You know me love going to the zoo, right? Well in the Netherlands we have lots of zoos. One even more special than the other. One of me fave zoos is Ouwehands Dierenpark, because they have this amazing bearforest and polar bears and penguins, gorillas and African elephants and… panda bears! They live here since this Spring and are called Wu Wen (the girl) and Xing Ya (the boy). Ofcourse me went to visit them. It a while ago though, but me wanted to show you anyways. It was amazing. These bears are so beautiful!

Plushie Fashion Week 2017: The Cat Hat Collection

You know me have a best friend who makes all me clothes right? She also like to make scarfs and hats and Cookie pins for me friends on Instagram. You can read more about that in this months’ edition of Pet’s Mews - me friends totally surprised us with that article! Well, in September me very good and sweet friend Tipsy Cat Bose - editor in chief at Pet’s Mews – decided it was time to host the first annual #plushiefashionweek2017. Ofcourse Berry just had to enter. We entered #plushiefashionweekAW17 with a special Autumn/Winter collection inspired by… the island Texel. (pictures by Berry de Nijs)

Cookie loves Texel – vacation 2017

WHOA it been a while since me got the time to write some blogs! Berry is helping me planning it out, so no worries, me no have left yet. It been a while too since me has been on vacation. Me had a great time on Texel (again) this year. Me visited the seals at Ecomare again, but also for the first time went to Texel Zoo.
