Cookie at the Museum: ART Amsterdam/KunstRAI 2017

Okay, technically the KunstRAI or Amsterdam ART is no museum. It is an art fair where art collectors, companies and enthusiasts can meet gallery holders and get to experience and discover all kinds of arts. Berry went as an art enthusiast and for her blog (if you can read Dutch, you can find it at Writing Berries) and because me always go with her, me got to come too. And as you know, me love art! And there was so much to see!

Cookie at the Keukenhof - part 3

Hello everybody! Here me is again with the third and last part about me visiting the Keukenhof. You must know, Keukenhof only opens 8 weeks per year in the springtime. The first time on March 21 was because Berry was invited for the opening of the season. The second time on April 11 we went for the opening of the orchid exhibit and the blessing of the flowers for the Vatican. And the third – and sadly last time this season – was on May 18. Berry took her nan and me took Bamboo to admire the flowers. Needless to say they were both in awe with the beauty of Keukenhof.

On April 25th 2017 me went to the Mesdag Collectie in The Hague. It a museum near the Peace Palace. This museum is really special. It used to be the home and art studio of the family and artists Mr. and Mrs. Mesdag. They not only artists themselves. They also collected a lot of art. Hence the name: Mesdag Collectie (collection). Their own collection (made and collected) can be admired at their old home. Twice a year the museum organises a special exhibit. This Spring and Summer you can see the magnificent exhibit with the most beautiful artwork made by Urban Larsson

Cookie at the Keukenhof – part 2

Yes me know! Me know! Me is far behind on writing me stories on me blog. Me know. Me sorry. It Berry her fault really. She has been hogging the laptop for months now. Well, me no can complain, because me proud of her working so hard. And me profits from it too. So… no complaining from me. But me sorry it took a while to tell more about the second time me visited Keukenhof. It was April 11th and we went to Lisse because the flowers for the Pope would be blessed that day before they were send off to the Vatican to decorate the square on Easter morning. After the official press moment, we were allowed to visit the rest of the park. And boy did we had fun!
